Joe Iezzi is a passionate mortgage & finance broker who genuinely loves what he does — because it allows him to combine two things that drive him: a love of numbers & complex debt structuring with a love of people and helping them achieve their financial dreams.

With a Law degree and a Business degree majoring in Finance, Joe brings a rare blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen to every client relationship. Before entering mortgage broking, he spent five years as a Commercial and Risk Analyst at a leading Australian banking institution, structuring complex credit submissions for SME clients across goodwill/business lending, commercial property transactions and residential portfolios. He managed some of the bank’s largest and most complex exposures — with individual client facilities exceeding $30 million — giving him deep insight into how lenders think and how to position applications for approval.

Joe transitioned into mortgage broking nearly three years ago and founded his own brokerage in mid-2023. In a short period of time, the business was nominated by MPA as one of the fastest-growing mortgage broking firms in the country — a testament to his work ethic, technical capability and client-first philosophy.
He recently joined Emerge Finance because he strongly aligns with the firm’s client-centric values and strategic approach to loan structuring. The Emerge model allows Joe to do what he does best - spend more time with clients, workshop complex scenarios and structure solutions that create long-term financial advantage - backed by the strength and support of an expert team.

While Joe works with a broad range of clients, he specialises in:
